About Silwood Park Campus

About 150 academic and research staff and 160 full-time postgraduates work at Silwood, which is set in a landscape of grassland, marshland and woods, with its own lake.

The campus' facilities include ecological field and laboratory facilities, lecture theatres, sports facilities, halls of residence, a catering outlet and a dedicated natural sciences library.

Silwood is a small and friendly campus with a particularly strong postgraduate student community.

The campus Students' Union and committee within the halls of residence organise a wide range of sports and social events throughout the year, including Silfest, an independent music festival held every summer at the campus.
