UK DRI researchers contribute to landmark review of UK Biobank's role in brain health research
UK Biobank is the world's most comprehensive longitudinal population-based resource, holding extensive data and biosamples from more than 500,000 volunteers across the UK.
As this cohort ages, its value for understanding dementia and other age-related conditions continues to grow. In a new Nature Reviews Neurology paper, researchers from the UK DRI Centre at Imperial provide a systematic review of how the dataset has advanced our understanding of brain health, and how it can best support future studies.
