White City labs

Imperial College London is a world-leading university focused on science, medicine, engineering and business.

We are building a new campus in White City which will help our researchers and partners to expand their research to help tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges, from preventing the spread of disease to delivering new, sustainable sources of energy.

There is a great deal already happening on the part of the campus north of the Westway (A40), and we are already working with local people on projects and activities that support the community.

Now, we are developing proposals for the southern part of the site – the area between the Westway and Depot Road, formerly occupied by the Unigate Dairy. We have met with many local organisations to discuss the plans since April 2017 and we have also held a number of consultation events in White City and the surrounding area to hear feedback from local people on our draft plans. All comments will be considered before an outline planning application is submitted to the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham later in the year.
