We are looking forward to welcoming you online to Imperial this Autumn.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to ensure that your degree can be delivered safely, we are writing to update you on how we intend to deliver your programme in 2021-22.  The first two terms are delivered online and hence your degree is unaffected.

If you chose to conduct your final research project on campus, the possibility to do so will be subject to the requirements of the current Public Health Advice from the UK Government, College guidelines on social distancing, and any additional health and safety measures. In the event that there is an escalation of the current outbreak, or a new outbreak of COVID-19 during your programme, then, in line with Public Health Advice from the UK Government, we may be forced to suspend all on-campus activity. In the event of suspension of on-campus activity, your project will be moved online. In moving the project online, all the intended learning outcomes will still be met, but the topic of the project may have to be adjusted to make sure it can be completed remotely.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Department and hope you will have a stimulating, enjoyable and successful time with us during your studies.
