  • under partial COVID restrictions, which allows students to be on campus whilst guidelines including face covering, observing social distancing and good hygiene; and
  • full COVID restrictions, which means a return to lockdown, should there be another outbreak of coronavirus.

Disability Advisory Service

Under partial COVID restrictions: Support will be offered remotely, but you will still receive the same high-quality guidance as before. Our experience advisors offer one to one appointments and the Service also run workshops throughout the year.

Some Specific Learning Difficulties and Autism assessments must take place in-person. Therefore, the service is preparing to offer in-person appointments based on your needs and the latest government advice.

Under full COVID restrictions: Services will be offered fully online, with Specific Learning Difficulties and Autism assessments suspended until they can take place in-person.

Counselling & Mental Health Service

Under partial COVID restrictions: The Service will operate remotely. The team is exploring whether they can offer in-person appointments based on your needs and the latest government advice. The College will ensure that the service offers enhanced online services and resources remotely.

The Service offers one to one counselling appointments, mental health advice and wellbeing workshops throughout the year. They have also launched the Kind Mind series, which combines advice from our expert counsellors with recommended books, apps and top tips to stay well, and the new Online Connect support sessions facilitated by our in-house counsellors.

Under full COVID restrictions: The Service will operate remotely. The College will ensure that the service offers enhanced online services and resources remotely.

Chaplaincy

Under partial COVID restrictions and under full COVID restrictions: Services and resources will be restricted to a remote format. The Chaplaincy will offer one to one appointments and run multiple facilitated meditation sessions every week.

Imperial Health Centre

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: The Health Centre Service will operate a telephone triage system and in-person appointments will be available if clinically necessary. Registered patients cannot receive medical advice if they are not in the UK at the time of contact.

Sexual violence support

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Sexual Violence Liaison Officers (SVLOs) continue to offer remote advice to students who are registered with the service. Our team can offer confidential telephone or video call one to one meetings.

Pastoral support in halls

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Support will be offered fully online. Additional online services and resources will be deployed to support you. In-person support will remain available in your halls of residence in the event of a serious emergency.
