Confirmation of negative COVID-19 test result for international travel
Updated 5 May 2021
If you book a test with the College’s testing scheme, you will be provided with a confirmation of your negative COVID-19 test result which you will be able to download from the system yourself. The confirmation will include date of birth and passport number, if you entered these details when you completed the booking form.
If you are intending to travel overseas, some countries may require proof of COVID-19 testing for entry. Please note that due to a change in lab location and a delay in site visits from UKAS due to lockdown, the College tests are not currently UKAS-accredited. This means the confirmation of negative test result may not satisfy the requirements.
You are strongly recommended to check with your airline and destination country. If additional paperwork such as a "Fit to Fly" certificate (following a clinician assessment) is required, then we advise you to source this from an appropriate private (GP or travel clinic) provider.
You can request a supporting letter for travel from the Student Hub via firstname.lastname@example.org if this would be helpful for your travel plans.
