Dear Student,

We know that many of you and your parents are worried about the COVID-19 outbreak and what it means for the health and safety of fellow students, staff, friends and family, wherever they may be.

There are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection at Imperial, however this is likely to change as numbers grow in the UK and across the globe. We are well prepared for this and we will let you know if and when we have a confirmed case in our community

You may have already heard of students or staff members on our campuses who have had to self-isolate following advice from NHS 111. We are making sure they receive support and have given special instructions to our contractor to pay special attention to cleaning our common spaces. The College is continuing to function normally.

Please continue to visit our COVID-19 webpages for information and advice. These pages are reviewed daily and updated to reflect changes in government and College policy.   

It is important that you let us know if you have been asked to self-isolate by a healthcare professional. Please email coronavirus-guidance@imperial.ac.uk and tell your senior tutor, supervisor or equivalent.

You can find more advice about looking after your own health and wellbeing on our website. Please do not hesitate to contact your hall warden or department. Our community is here to support you.

We have been impressed by the willingness of our community to help each other at this challenging time. We are monitoring COVID-19 developments closely and we will continue to provide you with updates and guidance over the coming days and weeks.
