Mongolian is the official language of Mongolia, a huge central Asian country of over half a million square miles, as well as a widely-spoken language in parts of China.

As a country, Mongolia has a rich and deep history and culture, having been at the epicentre of the world's largest contiguous land empire in the thirteenth century, when it was an important conduit for knowledge between China and the West. This was in the time of the almost legendary leader of the Mongols, Genghis Khan.

The part-time Mongolian courses we offer at Imperial College are designed to help you develop your language skills quickly and effectively.

The courses are taught in the evening, making them ideal for working professionals, but students on Mongolian language evening classes come from many different backgrounds, from students and lecturers, to working people and retired people, as everyone is welcome.

The Imperial College Mongolian language programme is designed to help you get the most from the experience of learning a language, in a friendly and supportive environment. Classes are taught by an expert Mongolian language tutor who has a great deal of experience delivering courses for evening students.
