Adult Spanish language courses are one of the most popular language classes taken by evening class learners. 

The reason why Spanish is a popular language to learn on the evening classes at Imperial College London depends on who you are and on your motivation. You might be planning to visit Spain or South America on holiday, or to settle in a Spanish-speaking country or do business with the Spanish-speaking world. Or maybe you are just fascinated by Spanish history and culture.

Whatever your reason for studying Spanish, you will be joining a global commmunity of Spanish language speakers, as the language is spoken as the first language by almost 500 million people around the world.

Whether you are a beginner in learning Spanish, or you have some experience of speaking the language, the part-time Spanish courses we offer at Imperial College, including beginner Spanish classes for adults and more advanced classes for those with some experience of speaking Spanish, are designed to help you develop your language skills quickly and effectively.

In Spanish we offer in person (classroom) courses, with a maximum class size of 16 people per class, and online small class groups with maximim of 12 people per class.

In 2023 our adult education students rated our adult education courses as "excellent" with an overall score of 4.6 out of 5 in the student satisfaction survey.
