Instructions for Skype for Business on Mac
Downloading and installing
To install Skype for Business on Mac, go to Microsoft's website and download the install file: Download Skype for Business on Mac
- Click the Download button.
- Click Save to copy the disc image file to your computer.
- Double click the PKG image file.
- Follow the on screen instructions.
Setting up and logging in
To set up and log in to Skype for Business on Mac, follow these steps:
- Select the Skype for Business icon on your Dock.
- Enter your full College email address (c.smith@imperial.ac.uk) in the Email Address box.
- Enter your College password in the Password box.
- Click on Advanced Options
- Enter your username in the format IC\username
- Press the Sign in button.
Your setup is complete.
To link your Skype for Business to your Outlook so that your meetings appear in your Skype, follow these steps:
- Click on meetings in the left hand payne of the Skype window
- Enter your username in the format username@ic.ac.uk in the username box
- Enter your College email in the format username@ic.ac.uk in the email address box
- Enter your College password in the Password box.
- Press the Sign in button.
your setup is complete
