A quick guide to Library Search

Find out how to search for books and online resources using our quick guide to Library Search

How to find a book

Start your search by looking for the book details in Library Search.

Make a note of the shelf mark (such as 333.91 FEL) and floor number or “Level” and locate the book.

Issue it to your account on a self-service machine. You will need your College ID.

If the book you want is at a different campus, you can request it.

You can also borrow DVDs, maps and consult our theses collection.

Leisure reading

As well as academic books and resources we support you with our fiction and leisure collection

You can find most of these items on display on Level 1 and Level 5 at Central Library, as well as at the campus libraries and as e-books.

We're constantly adding new titles to collections – check our new additions.
