The major remit of the Library and Evidence Service is to assist the NHS in its work by providing the access, and the skills to access, up-to-date, evidence-based information that is used to provide both immediate and long-term benefits, which include improvements in operational efficiency, savings in time and reductions in financial cost. 

As part of our way to show Library Services' impact, we ask our users to tell us what the impact of what we have done to help them has been.

Some of the responses have been submitted as Impact Case Studies to Health Education England’s Knowledge and Library Service, where they are published as part of a database to display the impact of library services nationally.
