This session will provide an overview of professional registration and support participants in identifying the most appropriate registration status. It will cover:

• Introduction to the Science Council and the professional membership bodies
• Overview of the Science Council’s professional registration process
• Types of registration status available and competencies required at each level
• Self-assessment on which professional award is appropriate

Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will clearly understand what professional registration involves. They will also have identified which professional membership body and award are appropriate for them.
