Alumni Relations
The Alumni Relations team aims to build an active and engaged alumni community by providing opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and with the College.
As their first point of contact, we assist alumni with general enquiries and connect them with different areas of the College. We also maintain alumni records, support alumni groups, organise events, help alumni to set up and use their online accounts and manage a programme of exclusive alumni benefits. The team brings together activities in alumni engagement, alumni communications, events management and global community development
Our activities
The alumni relations team is responsible for:
- Supporting an international network of over fifty alumni associations that provide opportunities for alumni to network in their local area, or to connect around academic interests.
- Managing a programme of exclusive alumni benefits, including access to the Alumni Visitor Centre, a space for visiting Imperial alumni and their guests to relax, meet friends and colleagues and catch up with the latest developments at the College.
- Organising the annual Alumni Weekend at the Imperial Festival – a chance for alumni to reconnect with their department, classmates and the College, and to share their university experience with friends and family.
- Working with individual departments and faculties to develop new ways to engage alumni.
Imperial recognises the importance of our alumni community and the role that the wider community of staff, students, alumni and friends can play in helping humanity address the changes and challenges ahead. The commitment to building strong relationships with our alumni and the recognition that a lifelong exchange of ideas and support will benefit us all, is fundamental to building a strong and consistent alumni programme.
