FAQs

Who can attend Alumni Weekend? Can I bring guests and children?

All Imperial alumni are invited to Alumni Weekend. This includes anyone who attended any of the medical schools or constituent colleges which then formed Imperial. You are welcome to bring non-alumni guests and children.

Can I book additional guest tickets after I have made my booking?

Yes, please create a new booking via our online registration page. In order to ensure the additional tickets are linked to your alumnus record please register your guest tickets using the same email address as your original booking. Please include your guest's name where possible. If your guests have not yet been confirmed, please register tickets as Guest One, Guest Two etc.

I would like to meet up with old friends at the Weekend. Are you able to help me do this?

If you are no longer in touch with your friends or classmates, we are happy to pass on a message by email. Drop us a line at alumnievents@imperial.ac.uk, and we will be able to help.

Why not encourage any friends or classmates you are in contact with to join you at the Weekend? We can help you re-establish contact with those you have lost touch with so you can meet up.

We encourage you to try and communicate with friends and classmates in advance of Alumni Weekend to arrange a day, time and location to meet. You may find the Alumni Lounge is a convenient and comfortable location to meet up.

Will there be refreshments/lunch available at Alumni Weekend?

We will provide complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and extra sweet treats in the Alumni Lounge all weekend.

A variety of other catering options are available throughout campus including selected College outlets and the Festival street food stalls. Avoid the queues and bring your own food and drink into the Alumni Lounge. There will be space for you to enjoy your lunch.

How do I get there?

The Alumni Lounge can be found in the Senior Common Room, Level Two, Sherfield Building, South Kensington Campus (A2 on this map). The South Kensington Campus is easily accessible by underground, bus and train. Further information, and a map of the campus, can be found on the College travel pages.

There are no parking spaces available on campus during the Festival and Alumni Weekend. There are a number of NCP car parks within the vicinity of the College. We suggest using other modes of transport to reach the Campus.

What is your refund policy?

For any cancellations made up to Friday 10 June, a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations made after Friday 10 June cannot be refunded. Please note that all refunds will be processed after Alumni Weekend has taken place.
