How can I set up an Imperial Alumni email address?

If you have not already done so, please register for an online alumni accountRegistrations for online alumni accounts are in high demand and are approved manually, so please allow seven working days for confirmation. Thank you for your patience. 

Once your account has been approved, login to your account. Choose the link on the left hand side Set up your alumni mailbox.

We will need to send you your login so please state an alternative mailbox, where we can send you the details and re-enter to confirm

Click Create account once and wait for the confirmation screen to appear. You will shortly be sent login details to the alternative mailbox you gave a moment ago.

Help! I've forgotten the password for my online account, how do I reset it?

If you have forgotten your user name or password, please complete the relevant form here.

If the information provided matches the information held on our database, we will automatically email your password reminder phrase to the email address we hold for you on our database.

If you don't receive an email within 10 minutes, it is likely that your email address has changed since you registered on the alumni website.

How can I get in contact with another alumnus?

You can do this through your alumni account – please login and click on the tab My account here you will find a box inviting you to Find a friend.

Where can I get my transcript/degree certificate?

Former students of the College (i.e. those who no longer have access to Student eService) can request documents by completing the Alumni Document Request Form.

How can I update my contact details and preferences?

Login to your alumni account, go to My account and then select the tab labelled Contact Details, where you can update your details.

Can I still use the Union facilities?

After you leave Imperial you can still remain part of the Union by becoming a life member. For a life membership fee of £40 you will be able to join a group or society, use the Union and attend events with up to two guests, only paying the special student rate.

As a life member you can continue to meet your friends at the campus bars in South Kensington, at Silwood and at Charing Cross. You will be welcome at sporting events and other club and society events such as musical productions or film showings as well as major yearly events such as the International Night and the Summer Ball.
