Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (1998 - )

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London was established in 1998, replacing the Department of Civil Engineering. The Department is organised into eight research groups: concrete, engineering seismology and earthquake engineering, hydraulics, environmental and water resource engineering, soil mechanics, structures, systems and mechanics, and transport.
