Department of Computing (1979 - )

The Department of Computing at Imperial College London was established in 1979. It succeeded the Department of Computing and Control. The Department's research is organised around the following groups: Distributed Software Engineering; High Performance Informatics; Interactive Media; Logic and Artificial Intelligence; Software Technology and Theory; Computational Bioinformatics.
