Student creating the practical design solutions.

Week two of the programme will challenge you to solve a real-world issue. Drawing on your entrepreneurial skills, you will work with students from other subject areas to share expertise, collaborate and to evolve an idea to answer the challenge question.

You and your team will present your solution to an Imperial Enterprise Lab judge and fellow Global Summer School students. This challenge is your opportunity to show originality and to build the skills you will need at university including, teamwork, presentation and communication skills.

The Imperial Enterprise Lab will lead sessions covering topics such as:

  • What is entrepreneurship?
  • Working in cross-culture teams
  • Guided network
  • Introduction to ideation, generating and choosing ideas
  • Prototyping

Previous project themes have included robotics, wearable technology, space and future vision.
