The Proto-Maker Challenge
Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Due to the challenges associated with the pandemic, we will continue to provide STEM support through our dedicated online platforms. Our first priority remains the safety and well-being of our staff, students and programme participants.
Enrolment for our programmes this Autumn will continue as usual but there will be no face to face or on-campus visits until it is deemed safe to do so. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we will continue to do the best we can to safely support all of our programme participants. Please contact the programme manager / Imperial visitor if you have any questions or concerns and check the website for updated information.
The Proto-Maker Challenge programme is fully funded programme for students aged 11-14. The programme works with secondary schools local to White City and involves three full days of making in the Reach Out Makerspace and two after school mentoring sessions.
How do I apply?
At present we do not take individual applications for the Proto-Maker Challenge, but please do sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date with other Outreach activities.
If you are a teacher and interested in your school getting involved with the Proto-MAker Challenge, please contact Reach Out Makerspace Coordinator Kate Mulcahy.
