At a glance

In partnership with the Medical Schools Council and funded by Health Education England, this summer school will provide the opportunity to experience what it is like to study at medical school and explore medicine as a future career.

Students will spend four days learning about what it takes to become a doctor through talks, workshops and practical activities.  There will be sessions on a variety of specialisms within medicine as well as support for preparing a strong application to medical school.  Students will also have the chance to experience broader university life through a series of social activities and time to relax with other participants and undergraduate mentors.

This summer school is fully funded (free to successful applicants), which includes all course fees, materials, accommodation, three meals a day as well as any trips that are part of the summer school. Travel is not included however we may be able to offer successful applicants travelling from outside of London financial assistance for their travel.

Students who have already attended an MSC summer school are not eligible to attend a second MSC summer school. Links to the ofther summer schools can be found on the Medical Schools Council website.
