Module aims

To apply the knowledge learned in the rest of the course to open-ended investigation.
To develop important project management, team working and communication skills.

Module syllabus

Project work may start as soon as it is convenient, subject to agreement and safety forms having been submitted. The exact amount of time spent on projects is not fixed, but you are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during term time and full time in the summer term, after the exams; vacations are not encouraged over the summer term unless approved by your supervisor. To monitor progress and your effort on the project you will keep a Project Log Book that will be handed in with your final report.
