Societal engagement at Imperial is an integral part of our mission. It is about how we engage with the public - including schools, patients and local communities - to ensure that our education and research benefits society. Within the Department of Bioengineering we encourage all researchers and students to get involved in engagement activities and utilise a range of platforms to engage target public audiences in creative, relevant and accessible ways.
The Imperial Fringe is a series of public events exploring the unexpected side of science. Based on Imperial's ground-breaking research, Imperial Fringe is comprised of public evening events to engage with and build Festival audiences throughout the year via innovative public programming.
