Professor Francisco Veloso
Professor Francisco Veloso is the Dean at Imperial College Business School. Previously, he was the Dean at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. Francisco´s research focuses on high tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
Professor Erkko Autio is Chair in Technology Venturing and Entrepreneurship and Deputy Head of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department. His pioneering research into entrepreneurship has been cited in over 18,000 academic publications and in news media in over 80 countries.
Professor James Barlow is Chair in Technology and Innovation Management – Healthcare. His research looks at the adoption and sustainability of innovation in healthcare. He teaches on MSc International Health Management programme and on several Executive Education courses.
Dr Lara Cathcart is an Associate Professor of Finance and Academic Director of MSc Finance and MSc Risk Management & Financial Engineering at Imperial College Business School. She specializes in the study of credit risk, derivative pricing and fixed income products.
Dr Paola Criscuolo is Deputy Head of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department. Her research focuses on the knowledge transfer across both individuals and firms, open innovation and the strategic use of patents. She has been published in international academic journals.
Dr Laure de Preux is an Assistant Professor and member of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation. As a health and environmental economist, she has extensive expertise in the use of hospital and climate data and her work has featured in Health Economics and other publications.
Jonathan Haskel is Professor of Economics and Director of the Business School’s Doctoral Programme. His main research interests are productivity, innovation, intangible investment and growth. His latest book ‘Capitalism without Capital’ is available now.
Marcin Kacperczyk is Professor of Finance and his research primarily investigates the impact of private information on financial markets. He recently received a European Research Council (ERC) grant and he will examine the mechanisms that drive economic decisions.
Dr Renáta Kosová is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Management, Programme Director of the MSc in Economics & Strategy for Business and chair of the Business School’s Diversity Committee.
Dr Namrata Malhotra is an Associate Professor of Strategy in the Department of Management. Her research interests lie in the areas of organizational change and institutional change, drawing on both organizational theory and strategy. She also teaches an Executive Education course.
Dr Marisa Miraldo is an Associate Professor in Health Economics and member of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation. She’s interested in the design and evaluation of health policies, adoption and diffusion of innovation and the behavioural determinants of decision making. She launched and was programme director the Executive Education course, Advanced Management Programme on Health Innovation.
Dr Mirabelle Muûls is a lecturer at the Grantham Institute and an Assistant Professor in Economics. She is Programme Director of the MSc in Climate Change, Management & Finance. She is also a Research Associate in the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics.
Professor Nelson Phillips holds the Abu Dhabi Chamber Chair in Innovation and Strategy, having been Acting Dean the Business School. He has published more than 100 academic articles. He is Programme Director of the Executive Education course, Leadership in a Technology-Driven World.
Professor Carol Propper is Associate Dean of Faculty and Research, Chair in Economics and a member of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation. In 2010 she was awarded a CBE for her services to social science. In 2014 she was elected as a fellow of the British Academy.
Dr Ileana Stigliani is Assistant Professor of Design and Innovation in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department. She researches the cognitive aspects of innovation. In 2016, she received the Imperial College Business School Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in teaching.
Dr Katrin Tinn is an Assistant Professor in Finance at Imperial College Business School. Her research focuses mainly on applied theory. She teaches on the Business Economics and Microeconomics modules.
