He is also a senior economist at the OECD, in charge of the G20/OECD Taskforce on Long-Term Financing and research on sustainable finance and connectivity infrastructure. He leads the “Institutional Investors and Long-Term Investment” project with major pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds globally. Presenting work to the European Parliament Financial Stability Board and UN on the impacts of financial regulation on infrastructure financing, and sits on the advisory committee of the OECD Provident Pension Fund.
Previous roles have been in finance in investor services as part of international teams advising governments and private consortia; he has worked on the analysis, structuring and negotiation of the largest transactions in the utilities and infrastructure sectors in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is a graduate of Rome, Oxford and Columbia Universities.
