‘Excellent diverse groups of alumni’, ‘Great venue, good ambiance’, ‘Great event to meet other Business School alumni, enjoyable and great venue’, ‘I really enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with alumni’, ‘Great to network and catch up with old friends’.
These were just some of the comments from alumni after the Annual Alumni Celebration held at the London Transport Museum, 20 October 2016. The event was attended by over 150 alumni and staff from the Business School, who came together to connect, reminisce and learn about developments at the School today. We were delighted to welcome alumni spanning four decades of the Business School, and across all programmes. Alumni had the chance to hear from Professor Nelson Phillips, Acting Dean of the Business School, and Erin Hallett, Head of Alumni Relations. In his welcome address Nelson talked about the pioneering technological developments in London transport on show at the museum, and compared this to the drive and talent being cultivated at the Business School and Imperial College today, leading to constant advancements in technology, business, engineering and medicine. Erin commented:
It was wonderful to see so many alumni come together from across years and programmes to celebrate the Business School. These events help develop our alumni community and build strong, lifelong connections. Thank you to everyone who attended and I look forward to many more successful events!
