Deadlines, job applications, library. This is pretty much a well-rounded description of the past weeks. With the addition of four exams coming in less than a week. And, while typing, I am staring at the 4 pm London-dark-sky, surrounded by clouds. What can I say?

Honestly, I could not ask for anything more stimulating. I personally love being challenged with harder and harder obstacles, which is exactly what is happening right now. And this also represents the key-word of the MSc Management: challenges. Being able to cope with an exam and an interview on the same day, dealing with multiple deadlines piling up in the space of 3 days, keeping track of all those lecture notes which you took two months ago. The development of these soft skills will forge your armour with the strongest steel, once out there in the business world. Indeed, this is exactly the final aim of this MSc. Providing you with the ability to face challenges with a sense of enjoyment.

Obviously, reducing the description of the past weeks to a dark sky and pre-exam stress could be misleading. I have the duty to mention memorable football victories against MiMs at both London Business School and London School of Economics, in which our dynamic course director, Paolo, took part. I have to say that stepping from “Sorry for being late to class” to high-fiving him with sweaty hands after a goal has been quite awkward, but it’s still an experience worth trying.

On a side note, I will upload the second video shortly – as you can imagine, it’s a busy period of the year!

Vittorio is studying our MSc Management programme.
