In celebration of the International Day of University Sport, students that started their programme with the Business School in September were invited to a rounders (softball) tournament on Tuesday 20 September.
Organised in conjunction with Sport Imperial, the event saw students from our Full-Time MBA, MSc Management, MSc Economics & Strategy for Business, MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management, MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance and MSc Risk Management & Financial Engineering programmes come together to demonstrate their sporting prowess.
With the British weather on our side, the tournament went ahead in Hyde Park – a short walk away from the Business School.
Sport Imperial helped to get the students warmed up and took them through a practice game.
Quickly getting into the swing of things, students formed mixed teams from across the programmes and competed for the coveted trophy.
There were some impressive displays of athleticism – some big hits, incredible catches and plenty of home runs resulting in celebratory high fives.
But only one team could claim victory… so congratulations to our winners, pictured here with their trophy, celebrating with pizza and drinks at Eastside.
