Term one has officially ended and it’s time to start off strong for what is yet to come. It is incredible to look back over the past 3 months and realize how much was learnt, experienced, accomplished. If anything, I personally feel more motivated now to learn more now than I did when I started the MSc in Strategic Marketing Programme.
The first term was filled with challenges, successes, team-work, ups and lows. I remember thinking to myself at one point, “how am I going to do it, how am I going to get all this work done?” Truth is, you always find a way to do it and cope with the situation. It’s a rewarding feeling at the end to look at large pile of projects, quizzes, presentations and essays, knowing that you did that and you are capable of doing it.
Throughout the term, there were lots of social mingles, career fairs and clubs to get involved in. So many great opportunities to meet new people and develop relationships with students, teachers and faculty. If I could recommend one thing for future students it would be to make an effort to attend as many events as possible, they are such great environments to reach out to people.
The term ended with exams, as expected. As stressful as exams can be, the school really tries to help us students out in the process and give us enough time to study and do well. The exams were well spaced out, allowing students to take their time and focus on each subject at a time. In addition, I found the in-class preparations and exercises extremely useful, they allowed students to gain confidence in learning the subjects.
