Being part of Imperial has changed my life in so many ways. I have joined the School’s MSc Investment and Wealth Management programme recently and I was immediately drawn by the challenging yet so fervent lifestyle it aspires. I felt it; saw it and I fully embraced it.
Imperial is offering me a chance to uncover myself, to learn how to discern my skills and to discover my true drives. Truly, it is giving me a chance to feed my passion and let it grow into one concrete vision. I have also met some of the smartest, most enthusiastic, and most interesting people; people who may intimidate you but, more importantly, they would revive some energies you weren’t even aware you had them within you.
Challenge is one very interesting word I learned to love during these past months; it creates this life where you constantly transcend your past achievements, where you learn how to gradually detach yourself from the word ‘impossible’. Challenge really makes the difference and just unleashes the hidden competences you, unwillingly, confined for so long. And then you discover a new you, hopefully one you can be proud of.
I was never contented with average, and this course has offered me excellency in a golden platter and it is up to me to rise to the task. And what would be a better golden platter than London? A rousing, wholehearted and incredibly spirited capital that never ceased to impress. Ambition, dreams and success are written all over its walls. For me, there was no choice. I was bound to apply for Imperial; I was bound to live this life…
It is a long journey, I am aware of it, but for once in my life, I am not too worried about the destination; I am too busy enjoying the ride.
