Recruit on Campus

We help employers run a whole host of events both on and off campus. These can be as varied as formal employer presentations, skills sessions, alumni panels, speed networking or business games. We do not charge for any of the employer events held with us, other than for catering if you require it.

We host two large careers fairs in the Autumn term, these are our flagship events and a great way to raise awareness of your company early in the academic year.

Employer presentations
Employer presentations typically take place in the evening to avoid clashes with lectures. The format of the presentation is up to you but we find that the best presentations are those that give an insight into the area of work which cannot be found on the company website. The opportunity to network with current employees is always popular with our students. We need a minimum of two weeks’ notice to schedule a presentation.
On Campus Interviews
We can help organise and host your interviews on campus. Typically these take place 2-3 weeks after a recruitment presentation.
Skills Sessions
These sessions are a popular way to engage with students while also helping to develop their skills. We can work with you to identify a topic area but normally these would cover skills required for the application and selection process such as interview skills or mock assessment centres or to help develop skills they will need on the job such as networking or resilience.
Drop-in Sessions
Very popular with MSc students, these are a series of 20 minute one-to-one meetings between recruiters and students which we host on campus. The duration and timing is up to you, but most organisations run these for half a day.
Careers Fairs, Speed Networking and Employer Panels
The Business School runs two careers fairs in September – the Finance & Consulting Fair and the Corporate and Technology Fair. These enable you to increase your brand awareness on campus and meet a wide range of students. We typically have over 500 students attending each fair. Speed Networking allows you to hold your own event in which you connect with a variety of students on a one to one basis in a short amount of time. It is a way to let students know about your organization in a quick but intimate setting, and to expose potential candidates to a taste of the company's culture and mission. We also organise panel events with speakers from different companies talking on a 'hot' topic of shared interest - for example "Women in Leadership".
Career Clubs
The Business School has a range of student-led Career Clubs which organise informal events throughout the year. The clubs cover sectors including Finance, Consulting, Technology, Media, FMCG, Luxury Goods, Retail, Energy, Sustainability, Social Impact and Entrepreneurship.
