Event details
Join Imperial Women’s Network for the first seminar in the academic series of ‘Change’.
Dr. Eliza Filby, a Generations expert and historian of contemporary values, will join the Imperial Women's Network to speak about her latest book and lead a thought-provoking discussion about the multi-generational impact on the workplace and society and the notable changes that shape how the generations view their futures.
Eliza will provide an overview of how different generations have come about, discuss the characteristics that define each generation and explore the issues and challenges we face in recruiting, managing and retaining a multi-generational workforce. The talk will focus on the UK workplace with some contrast and comparisons made with global trends that have been noted through research.
The event is aimed at alumni, their guests and individuals who are engaged in a multi-generational workplace and are interested in learning more about trends in this area and how to tackle the management challenges that companies face.
