At the end of January 2020 the UK officially left the European Union. Brexit had dominated the headlines since the UK referendum back in June 2016, but then COVID-19 hit and Brexit was put on lockdown.

These two significant events will continue to have a big impact on the global economy for some time to come. So what does a post-EU, post-lockdown UK look like? What is the long-term impact on trade, tax, funding and global economic growth?

Join Professor David Miles CBE, Professor of Financial Economics, and Professor Nelson Phillips, Associate Dean of External Relations at the Business School, as they share their expertise on the prospects for global economic recovery. Professor Francisco Veloso, Dean of the Business School will open the event.

This is a great opportunity to hear from these two well-respected academics. This event is open to all Imperial alumni.
