Cyber Security Imperial College

Event details

24 February 2020
17:30 - 20:30
High Commission of India, Aldwych, London, WC2B 4NA, United Kingdom

In collaboration with Imperial College Business School's Gandhi Centre for Inclusive Innovation, the High Commission of India invites you to join us as we explore the emergence of cyber-physical systems, specifically the rapid emergence and legal requirements of the Internet of Things, possible mitigations such as anti-virus software which may not be sufficient, particularly where security mixes with safety concerns, and we will look at the UK national cyber security strategy, based on the three pillars of ‘defend, deter, and develop’. This is now due a refresh and we will consider trends on how the strategy is likely to evolve.

Register here to join representatives from Imperial College London, the High Commission of India, the Indian Chamber of Youth Entrepreneur (ICYE), and law enforcement for some lively and thoughtful discussion, followed by a reception and networking opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you there!
