To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Business School is hosting an exclusive event to highlight the active Women in Leadership community across our suite of programmes.

If you are a dynamic female business professional considering an MSc or MBA then this is the event for you! Learn more about our programmes and discover how Imperial can help build your future.

You will be able to hear a keynote speech by Faith Ruto, Executive MBA alumnus and Founding Director of Tranformation21st Ltd, who will share her personal success story and tips on how to achieve personal balance and resilience.

Megan Camacho, Careers Consultant will talk about the role we can all play to achieve gender equality and Full-Time MBA alumnus, Byron McCaughey, will discuss the challenges in the technology industry as we strive for equality in a traditionally male dominated sector. You'll also hear from current student, Siera Torontow, as she shares her journey on the Weekend MBA so far.

Finally, we will discuss the professional, and personal, challenges and triumphs of women in business during the panel featuring MSc and MBA students including MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management student, Hannah Abdel-Hadi.

Faith Ruto, Executive MBA alumnus and Founding Director of Transformation21st Ltd

Faith Ruto (MBA, BSc) is the founding director of Transformation21st Ltd, an innovative personal development and change consultancy with a global client reach. Faith has delivered 100s of bespoke 1-2-1 and group coaching programmes for leaders and businesses going through change. 

Before setting up Transformation21st in 2014, Faith spent 12 years working for Shell and British Airways, leading global tech projects to bring about business transformation and innovation.

Faith will share her personal success story and tips on how to achieve personal balance and resilience.

Megan Camacho, Career Consultant

Megan Camacho is a Career Consultant supporting MSc and MBA students at Imperial Business School since 2018.  Prior to Imperial, Megan worked for various organisations in finance and professional services including Goldman Sachs, Lloyd’s of London, Barclays and KPMG. 

With over 10 years of experience within learning & development, Megan is passionate about developing careers from graduate to senior leadership level.  Megan holds a BA in Communication from Michigan State University and a diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching.

Siera

Siera Torontow, Weekend MBA student

Siera is an entrepreneurial professional who enjoys turning ideas into products and experiences. She is a commercial expert with a sales, strategy and marketing background. As Co-Chair of Elsevier Women’s Network UK, she facilitates workshops on the benefits of gender balance in the workplace. In 2019 Siera was given the Women’s Award Scholarship for her contribution in accelerating gender balance and advocating for gender equity.

She is currently completing the WMBA at Imperial College London and holds responsibilities as the President of the Healthcare Business Club and start up coach. Experienced in technology and healthcare industries she enjoys tackling complex problems in a collaborative and creative culture.  Siera has professional expertise in Europe, Asia-Pacific and N. America.
