Imperial College Business School Innovation Hackathon: Student Led Conference

We are excited to announce this year’s annual flagship Innovation Hackathon on ‘Sustainable Retail’ hosted by FMCG, Luxury & Retail Club.

About this event

Join the event to exchange ideas with business leaders in retail sustainability initiatives and unleash creativity in reinventing solutions to solve the world’s pressing issues!

Once registered you are free to form your own team (of between 3 and 5 people) or be placed in one by our organisers.

If you have already formed a team, please email ibfmcg-luxury-retailclub@imperial.ac.uk to confirm the names of the team members. Please ensure each member signs up individually.

The Hackathon will be a huge part of our 3-day ‘Sustainability in Retail’ conference and your team will be assigned a problem statement relating to the retail industry on the first day of the conference (May 17th).

We will organize innovative workshops during the 3 days to help you ideate and pitch your business solution, as well as one mentorship session per team (Mentors will be assigned to teams closer to the event date).

Each team will have from May 17th to the morning of May 19th to brainstorm an idea, create innovative solutions and create a short accompanying pitch. You will present your idea to the panel of expert judges from both academia and professionals in the Retail Industry.

Team's can participate offline, online, or hybrid.

For offline participants, you will have a chance to grab food, drinks and network with other participants' and judges after your pitch on Thursday May 19th.
