CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submission deadline: May 18 2021
PhD students active in the area of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation are invited to present and share their work with peers and faculty at the PhD Research Day on Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This year event will be held on Zoom on Friday 18 June 2021.
The PhD Research Day is an annual event for doctoral students to share their ongoing work with peers and colleagues. It is part of a series of related events organised in collaboration between Imperial College Business School, King’s College London, Judge Business School Cambridge, London Business School, London School of Economics, Said Business School – Oxford, The Business School (formerly Cass) and the UCL School of Management. The event provides an opportunity for PhD students to get feedback on their research ideas, receive practical research advice, and build connections in their academic field.
The event features research broadly within Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and doctoral students at all stages of their respective programmes will be able to present their research and receive feedback and suggestions from peers and faculty attending the event.
The event will be generally open to the faculty, and each session will include specific faculty members who will be asked to comment on the papers presented.
Students can choose to simply attend, or to present their ongoing work and ideas (they will need to specify their choice upon registration). Presenters are expected to have a reasonably well-developed work-in-progress and will be required to submit a one-page document including (1) a summary of the research that they want to present and (2) the composition of their supervisory team (this will be used for the purpose of creating an invitation list).
The deadline for both registrations and presentation submissions is 18 May 2021.
