Digital City Exchange (DCE) is a five-year multidisciplinary research programme, uniting researchers from the Faculty of Engineering and the Business School, and partnering with a wide range of industry leaders. In this video, Professor David Gann explains how DCE is investigating ways to digitally link utilities and services within a city, enabling new technologies and business opportunities. It focuses on harnessing next-generation digital systems to combine and re-purpose city data, ultimately transforming the management of city services and resources.
