When Byron McCaughey and Henry Oakes started their Full-Time MBA back in 2016, they knew the skills they would learn would help them achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions. What they hadn’t realised was the key role their fellow classmates would play.

Byron and Henry, who met while studying at the Business School, have spent the last year working on their start-up, TRACK. TRACK is a free mobile and web application which aims to simplify property finances for homeowners, giving peace of mind and helping people make smarter decisions.

They recently closed a very successful pre-seed funding round, which drew amazing support from their fellow alumni who jumped at the chance to support the budding entrepreneurs. Byron told us:

We have just closed our pre-seed funding round and were blown away by the level of support and enthusiasm, particularly from our MBA classmates who made up over 50% of the 45 investors.

“As part of the fundraising campaign we hosted a TRACK Showcase Evening at our offices in Shoreditch, and it was great to have the support of some of our fellow alumni on the night too.

“We’re also happy to say we have finished the TRACK prototype – watch the video demo here! The funding will be used to hire tech resource, further develop the product and build a small customer base.”

Byron and Henry are looking to hire a lead developer, and have asked if any of our alumni community can help. Please get in touch with them directly if you can help them with this.
