Over the last two months Dean Francisco Veloso has been sharing the 2028 vision for the Business School with our international alumni community though a series of global receptions. He has been warmly welcomed by alumni from the Business School and Imperial College in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong. Leila Guerra Associate Dean of Programmes also welcomed alumni and Executive MBA students to a reception in New York. Over the last two months we have engaged with over 250 international alumni and guests.

The Dean was keen to mobilise our international community and get the alumni network engaged with the Business School’s new Strategy:

Leila and I have been spreading word of the new School strategy far and wide, delivering talks to alumni groups in Singapore, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and New York. These have been terrific opportunities to let our wider community know what we have planned, to get their feedback and most importantly their engagement. I very much enjoyed connecting with our international alumni community and look forward to more events in the coming year in India, Canada and Europe.

Erin Hallett, Head of Alumni Relations at the Business School, said: “It’s been an exciting few months meeting our brilliant alumni around the world and learning more about our global networks.  We have been overwhelmed by the support of our alumni, and are especially grateful to our regional Associations and alumni volunteers for making us so welcome.  Connecting with our global alumni communities creates important engagement opportunities and helps raise the international profile of Imperial College London and the Business School.  I am looking forward to meeting even more alumni in 2019!”
