Building networks

One of the best things about undertaking an MBA is the people that you form connections with. Completing an Executive MBA at Imperial College Business School offers you an unrivalled opportunity to form a personal network with high-achieving business professionals from many different sectors and cultures, as well as corporate partners of the Business School.

Your MBA cohort

You will form a close personal network with your Executive MBA classmates, who will be senior professionals from highly diverse industries, functions and nationalities. Modern business is all about teamwork, vision and leadership as well as individual brilliance. The EMBA echoes this with an array of dynamic team projects, allowing you to explore your own talents whilst learning from your diverse network of peers.

Meeting my fellow cohort has been an incredibly rewarding experience as there is a lot of collaboration and genuine interest in each other’s backgrounds. My class is very diverse and you inadvertently learn different ways to approach analysis and problem solving; it adds to a more enriching experience.

Your Imperial network

During your time at Imperial you’ll mix with fellow students, alumni from the Business School and Imperial College London, corporate clients of our Executive Education programmes, industry players, adjunct professors and visiting lecturers – all with the potential to enrich you both professionally and personally.

Electives are shared across our MBA suite community, giving you the opportunity to study alongside impressive students from our Full-Time MBA, Weekend MBA and Global Online MBA programmes and widen your network further. School-wide speaker events and cross-programme socials give you the time to reinforce these new relationships.

You’ll be able to pull on business knowledge, tap into expert networks around Imperial’s science, engineering and medicine faculties and potentially meet students from around Imperial at the forefront of inventions and discoveries.

The technical skills that I’ve learnt on the programme is only a small part of the learning at Imperial. The strong and diverse cohort play a huge part in bringing theory into real world context, accelerating learning and ensuring it is both current and applicable.
