Imperial College Business School is pleased to offer significant scholarship funding to our most talented applicants. We are proud to offer awards that support diversity, such as MBA scholarships for women, regional scholarships, and the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) fellowship.
A range of scholarships are available and all self-funded candidates are automatically considered for all scholarship schemes for which they meet the eligibility criteria, entry requirements and application deadlines.

Africa Regional Scholarship
Imperial College Business School is proud to be a global organisation with students from all over the world. To encourage this further, we are offering scholarships to African students who we believe would contribute to the Imperial community.
Applicants who are resident in one of the 54 African countries (as defined by the United Nations) will automatically be considered.
How to apply
Candidates who submit their application for the Full-Time MBA before the final admissions round deadline and receive an offer for the programme will automatically be considered for this scholarship. Awards will be made in each admissions round but a limited number are available, so we recommend applying early. Successful candidates will be notified by the Admissions team within two weeks of an offer being made.

Forté Fellowships for women
Imperial College Business School is a proud sponsor of the Forté Foundation, a non-profit organisation that champions women’s progression within business through access to education. We are pleased to offer Forté Fellowships to outstanding female students joining the Full-Time MBA. Awards of £27,250 are available.
In addition to the financial support provided, Forté Fellows have access to a number of unique resources from Forté Foundation including:

All successful female applicants to the Full-Time MBA programme who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential are eligible to apply for this award.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills through academic achievement, or in roles as team or community leaders, and show a commitment to helping women achieve their career potential through personal mentoring or community involvement.
The scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on the following requirements.
- A demonstrable track record of leadership in your field
- Commitment to Forté’s mission of launching women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women
- The information supplied in your original application to the programme, including a strong academic background, and an excellent track record of professional achievement
- A high and well-balanced GMAT score
- Your performance during the admissions process, where academic and professional merit will be judged
- Your professional references
Imperial Excellence Scholarship
Scholarships are available for applicants demonstrating all-round excellence in their application and interview performance.
Candidates who apply before the final admissions round deadline and receive an offer for the programme commencing in September 2021 will automatically be considered.

Imperial College Business School is proud to be a global organisation with students from all over the world. To encourage this further, we are offering scholarships to Latin American students who we believe will contribute to the Imperial community.
Applicants who are resident in one of the 20 Latin American countries (as defined by the United Nations) will automatically be considered.

The Lee Family Scholarship
The Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship has been established to support talented alumni of Imperial College London pursue their MBA at Imperial College Business School.
This full scholarship covers tuition fees and a maintenance grant to support living expenses, and is offered to Imperial College London students or alumni with exceptional academic performance in their undergraduate degree from Imperial and a strong overall application.
How to apply
Candidates with exceptional academic performance in an Imperial undergraduate degree who submit their application to the Full-Time MBA by the deadline below will be considered for this award. Successful candidates will be notified by the Admissions team.
As the Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship covers the full tuition fees, the successful candidate will be ineligible for an additional Imperial alumni loyalty bursary. If any such awards have already been received, the award of the Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship will supersede them.

Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Fellowship
Imperial College Business School is a proud partner of Reaching Out MBA, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and connecting the LGBTQ+ MBA community to impact change in the workplace and create the next generation of ‘out’ leaders. Imperial joins over 50 top global business schools and more than 90 corporate partners in supporting ROMBA’s mission to lead the way to equality in business education, in the workplace and throughout society.
We are pleased to offer a ROMBA Fellowship of £20,000 to an outstanding student joining the Full-Time MBA.

As a recipient of this award, you will take on a role in the leadership team of the LGBTQ+ Careers Club and represent the School as part of the Student Ambassador Scheme. As a Student Ambassador, you will support the recruitment of high calibre candidates for future years in different ways, including: attending recruitment events, being featured in promotional materials, contributing to social media activity and taking part in student focus groups. You’ll play a particular role in initiatives to encourage LGBTQ+ participation in MBA education and to champion equality within Imperial and beyond.

Riley Family Scholarship
The Riley Family Scholarship has been established to support the Business School’s vision of attracting brilliant minds to Imperial, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. One award is available to students joining us in September 2021.
To apply for this scholarship you must be a self-funded student who demonstrates exceptional academic merit and/or potential, and has come from a disadvantaged background and/or has overcome adversity.
How to apply
Candidates who submit their application for the Full-Time MBA in admissions rounds 1-3 and receive an offer for the programme will be eligible to apply for this scholarship. A video assessment is required for this scholarship, and details will be communicated once an offer has been made.
Self-funded candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and come from a disadvantaged background.
To be considered for this scholarship you must be a self-funded student who demonstrates exceptional academic merit and/or potential and has come from a disadvantaged background and/or has overcome adversity.
The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

Sainsbury Management Fellows’ Award
The Sainsbury Management Fellows’ Awards of £50,000 for Full-Time MBA students are open to UK/EU/EEA citizens who have a first degree in engineering, allied technology or science discipline and demonstrate a strong commitment to both UK engineering, business, and industry, and their respective engineering communities. The awards are administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
To apply for the scholarship, you will first need to have been successful in securing a place on the Imperial Full-Time MBA. You then must submit an application to the Royal Academy of Engineering by 4pm on 7 June 2021.
Bursaries available for entry in September 2021
Imperial Loyalty Bursary
Your Imperial degree opened doors after graduation. Now, find out how an MBA can help open new opportunities to accelerate your career, with a 20% reduction in fees for the Full-Time MBA.
The bursary is available to candidates who have previously been awarded an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate Master’s degree by Imperial College London.
How to apply
Eligible candidates who receive an offer for the Full-Time MBA programme will automatically receive the bursary as a reduction to their tuition fees.
If you are offered an Imperial College Business School scholarship and are subsequently offered a larger award by us, the larger one would supersede the first award and would not be in addition to it.
Scholarships awarded by Imperial College Business School are in the form of a reduction of the tuition fee. Therefore, if you receive another scholarship that pays the full tuition fee directly to the College, you cannot also receive a scholarship from the Business School.
