We know that choosing to pursue an MBA is one of the most important decisions you will make and is a substantial investment in yourself.
Many of our students on the Global Online MBA fund their studies through multiple funding sources, combining personal resources with education loans and scholarships.
Funding sources to consider
You should consider what personal resources are available to you and evaluate your income, assets and your lifestyle expenses. Personal resources reduce your dependency on loans and other financing options.
Future Finance are an alternative source of financing for students. Loans between £2,000 - £60,000 are available to students studying at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, offered to UK, EU and even international students with a UK domiciled address. Further details of eligibility requirements, interest rates and other key terms of the loan are available from Future Finance.
Postgraduate Master’s Loan
If you are a UK student or an EU student who meets certain criteria, you can apply for the Postgraduate Loan for Master’s Study (PGL) from the UK government for the MBA. Find out more.
Low-interest rate loans
Individual banks, building societies and other lenders offer MBA loans.
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider dedicated to education finance for UK residents who are looking to fund their postgraduate studies at top universities. For Imperial College London, North American and EU nationals will also be considered for a Lendwise loan.
Full-time programme students who are approved for a Lendwise loan will have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation. The interest rate offered will depend on the overall applicant profile.
To apply you must have received an offer of admission to a postgraduate degree programme at Imperial College Business School. The application process is entirely online. Contact Lendwise directly to apply.
Externally funded scholarships
You can find details of further non-Imperial scholarships here.
