Why did you decide to study your programme and why specifically at Imperial College Business Schoool?
Flexibility was the big factor. Having access to a world-class education, which is what Imperial provides, but with the convenience where I can study anytime and anywhere: it was a bit of a no-brainer really.
Why did you choose Imperial over other online MBA’s?
I researched into quite a number of courses but I thought with Imperial, although it is a new course, it’s the ingenuity and the thought process behind how they’ve tried to maximise their learning potential. They use technology in a way which complements every element of your learning. Plus, it’s Imperial so it’s a global brand, it’s a worldwide recognised organisation.
What impact do you think the Global Online MBA will have on your future career?
From a healthcare point of view, it’s very rare for somebody in a surgical field to have an MBA, so it puts me in quite a unique position where I have an understanding of management, I have an understanding of business and I’m a surgeon. From that point of view, it could only benefit my career and also allow me to make changes which should improve healthcare. From a business point of view, it can only help the business I am establishing.
Would you recommend the Imperial Global Online MBA?
Yes. I think how structured and organised it is and how supportive the staff are, it speaks volumes for the course and just how personable the tutors were and how much they are making themselves available for us. It just reassures me that I’ve made the right choice, so I’d definitely recommend it to anybody.
