Why did you choose to study MSc Economics and Strategy for Business, and why specifically at Imperial College Business School?
I chose to study ESB because of the fact that it combined both economics and business. It allowed me to enrich my knowledge of economics from undergraduate level whilst placing it in a highly contextualised situation of the business world.
I chose Imperial because of its reputation, the fact that it was in London, and the employment opportunities that the course could provide me with.
What is your fondest memory from your time at the Business School?
Business Simulation Video was great fun as was the consultancy project.
How has the Business School helped develop your career?
It provided outstanding career development opportunities from career advice from the team to mock interview practice etc. Ultimately they helped me to get to where I want and given that this is the case, I would say that this is a success all round!
What do you enjoy most about your work and what are the main challenges that you face?
I love the variety of the work that I do in consulting. It provides me with a constant challenge in a client-facing role.
In what way is remaining connected to your alumni network important to you? / What value do you get out of your Business School and alumni connections?
It is vitally important as you never know when you will be able to leverage your network and when it will come in handy. Imperial has provided me with a really international network which I wouldn’t of had otherwise.
How can people find out more about what you do?
You can find out more at the KPMG website.
