Honored as the Brilliant Minds Scholar from Imperial College Business School, I confidently decided to pursue MSc Finance within a roof rewarding uniqueness, seeking excellence, applying professionalism and aiming to acquire best talent. Having double majored in Economics and Business Administration at Koc University, I was willing to acquire tapered knowledge within Finance for guidance in my aspired future career track and having knowledge of the the school’s well designed curriculum – turning theory into practice through integrating case studies, guest speakers, technical programming and competitions within lectures, created an unlike atmosphere and encouraged me to think outside the box.
Besides academics, what was intriguing is the involvement of faculty, alumni, students and directors providing a lifetime connected network. Due to ease in approachability and practicality of faculty, I had the chance to raise questions, be socially engaged and connect with people in the Business School. Consistently ranked one of the very best among other UK Business School’s especially in MSc Finance, Imperial offers wide range of concentrations in finance taught by leaders from the sector, improves technical and quantitative knowledge through programming training in Bloomberg, Reuters, C++ and VBA within an engaging framework qualifying its participants for post-masters.
The reason why I chose to become a Student Ambassador is my willingness to bridge Imperial College Business School with brilliant minds and pertain the school’s network to grow by adding new cultures and backgrounds every day. Finally, I choose to be part of MSc Finance, the school’s network and Student Ambassador Scheme having realised that once being a part of the team, there is no way of separation but more of a lifetime belonging.
