Studying MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management

Why did you choose to study MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College Business School?

The main driver behind me choosing Imperial College Business School was its reputation.

What is your fondest memory from your time at the Business School? / What do you miss most from your days at the Business School?

The innovative culture.

Career & Professional Development

How has the Business School helped develop your career?

It allowed me to gain employment of in a subject area specific to my masters.

How did you benefit from the services provided by the Business School’s Career and Professional Development Services Team?

The Career Services are fantastic and were fully supportive throughout the year in my application process.

What do you enjoy most about your work and what are the main challenges that you face?

I like being in a creative and fast paced environment is great and always keeps you on your feet.

My main challenges are:

  • Communication- being in a global organisation can pose challenges in such an organisation
  • Working in the b2b segment is relatively smaller compared to our consumer segment. This can pose challenges in terms of the work being rather like a start-up; there are not always defined processes and governance process can be challenging at times. However, this gives you an opportunity to make a name for yourself in a growing organisation.

The alumni network

How do you stay connected with others from your Business School alumni network?

I still stay connected via social media. Being a global cohort, it is a great way to stay in touch. There are also a few of us in the UK.

In what way is remaining connected to your alumni network important to you? / What value do you get out of your Business School and alumni connections?

It is great for job opportunities and spending time with people who have similar interests as yourself.
