I have always strongly believed that Masters programs are most beneficial when an individual can articulate their career goals, and possess clear understanding of how the degree contributes towards meeting that goal. After working for seven years as a medical practitioner and a management consultant with a focus on health systems in low and middle income countries (LMICs), it became clear to me that I needed a Masters degree that focused on using management best practices and innovative solutions to deliver optimal health outcomes to populations in a sustainable way. The International Health Management programme at Imperial College Business School was a perfect match.

My first few weeks at Imperial have reinforced my belief in this world-renowned institution of learning, having experienced first-hand the impressive cohort of smart and accomplished students; the depth of knowledge and expertise of the faculty; and the high quality of the course material and delivery channels.

I am excited to be part of college events that focus on the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in addressing health challenges. This change in approach will help deliver much needed health outcomes in LMICs, where long academic policy papers have not. The opportunity to make life-long friends, and enjoy the sights and sounds of London is an incredible bonus.

As a Student Ambassador, I am excited to share my experience with both experienced professionals and fresh graduates making the tough choice among programs. I hope our interactions will help make their decisions a little bit easier.
