Imperial College Business School is pleased to offer scholarship funding to our most talented applicants for the September 2019 intake of MSc International Health Management.

MSc International Health Management scholarships

Whether it’s AI, automation, analytics or more, the world of business is being rapidly shaped by technology and innovation. At Imperial College Business School, we drive business advantage through the fusion of business and technology and an entrepreneurial mind-set. We are delighted to launch a new Technology and Innovation Scholarship, with awards of up £20,000 available to recognise students who can demonstrate experience of using technology to innovate.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • A demonstrable passion for innovation and technology
  • A strong academic background and/or academic potential
  • The overall strength of your application and references
  • Your responses to the scholarship essay question, as outlined below

Deadline

You must apply no later than  1 March 2019 to be considered for this scholarship; however, early application is strongly recommended to increase your chance of receiving an award.

How to apply

All candidates must submit an essay in response to the following questions:

  • Describe a time when you used technology to find an innovative solution to solve a specific real-world problem or meet a certain goal

Your essay should be no more than 700 words in total and should be submitted via email to health@imperial.ac.uk by 1 March 2019. Emails should state ‘Technology and Innovation Scholarship’ and your CID number or application reference number in the subject line.

At Imperial College Business School, it is our mission to benefit business and improve society. We are delighted to launch a new Social Impact Scholarship, with awards of up £20,000 available to recognise students who demonstrate outstanding citizenship and commitment to supporting their community and/or social causes.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • Outstanding citizenship and commitment to supporting their community and/or social causes.
  • A strong track record of leadership and/or leadership potential
  • The overall strength of your application and references
  • Your responses to the scholarship essay questions, as outlined below

Deadline

You must submit your application and essay by 1 March 2019 to be considered for this scholarship.

How to apply

To be considered for this scholarship, you must have applied for the programme commencing in September 2019 and submitted your answers to the questions below by 1 March 2019.

  • Describe your role in the social impact project or initiative that you feel most proud of being involved in.
  • How do you plan to use your MSc to benefit business and society?

Your essay should be no more than 700 words in total and should be submitted via email by 1 March 2019. Essays must be submitted via email to health@imperial.ac.uk. Emails should state ‘Social Impact Scholarship’ and your CID number or application reference number in the subject line.

The Bseisu-Imperial College London Scholarship has been established with the generous support of the Amjad & Suha Bseisu Foundation to help realise our vision of attracting brilliant minds to Imperial, regardless of their financial circumstances.

We invite applications for this award from candidates who are ordinarily resident in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon or Jordan, and are pursuing a full-time MSc programme commencing in September 2019.

One award covering the full programme tuition fees is available.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship you must be a self-funded student who demonstrates:

  • A very strong academic background and potential for future success
  • A track record of professional excellence and achievement through internships and/or work experience
  • Ordinary residence in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon or Jordan
  • An intention to return to your country of residence
  • Financial need

Deadline

You should have submitted your application by Friday 24 May 2019 to be considered for this scholarship.

How to apply

Candidates are required to answer the following essay question to be considered for the scholarship:

“What life experiences have shaped who you are today and how have you overcome adversity to excel in education? How do you think these experiences will help you in today’s rapidly changing world?” (700 words maximum)

When you submit your application, please email your essay answer to business.school@imperial.ac.uk stating the name of the scholarship and your CID number in the subject line.

Candidates who apply by the deadline and meet the residency requirements will be automatically considered for this scholarship and asked to submit their answers to the essay question if they haven’t already.

Scholarships of up to £10,000 are available for applicants demonstrating all-round excellence.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • An excellent application, demonstrating academic merit, strong professional or internship experience, clear career plan and leadership potential.
  • Your references

Candidates who apply before 1 March 2019 and receive an offer for the programme commencing in September 2019 will automatically be considered. Please use your personal statement to highlight your proudest achievements inside and outside the classroom.

Scholarships of 50% of the MSc International Health Management tuition fees are available for Imperial College London students or alumni with exceptional academic performance and a strong overall application.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • Exceptional academic performance in an Imperial degree, typically at strong first class honours level. Candidates who are currently in their final year will be assessed on their marks to date and predicted performance
  • The overall strength of your application and interview performance
  • Your academic references

Deadline

You must apply by 1 March 2019 to be considered for this scholarship.

How to apply

Imperial College London students or alumni who apply before 1 March 2019 and receive an offer for the programme commencing in September 2019 will automatically be considered for this award. Please use your personal statement to highlight your proudest achievements inside and outside the classroom.

Candidates awarded an Imperial College scholarship will be ineligible for an Imperial alumni loyalty bursary.

Other awards

We are delighted to support talented students by offering Bright Network members an application fee waiver. Please note the waiver covers the £50 application fee, but applicants are still required to pay full tuition fees. If you are already a member of the Bright Network, please email us at business.school@imperial.ac.uk with your name to request your discount code. If you are not yet a member of the Bright Network, please sign up, where you will also be given the discount code.

Please note: The waiver must be requested before you submit your application, and cannot be retrospectively applied.

We welcome applications from Imperial College London alumni. We offer a 10% bursary on tuition fees to successful candidates with an undergraduate degree from Imperial awarded at a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours, or Master’s degree awarded with a minimum of Merit.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:

  • An undergraduate degree from Imperial awarded at a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours, or Master’s degree awarded with a minimum of Merit. Candidates who are currently in their final year will be assessed on their marks to date and predicted performance

To be considered for this bursary, you must submit your application by 1 March 2019.

How to apply

Imperial College London students or alumni who apply before the above deadline and receive an offer for the programme commencing in September 2018 will automatically receive this award.

We cannot guarantee the availability of Imperial Loyalty Bursaries for applications received after the deadline.

Other sources of funding

  • Other merit or needs based scholarships. For example, Imperial College London offers postgraduate scholarships and The British Council offers scholarships for international students
  • A Professional and Career Development Loan is a government-backed commercial bank loan that UK residents can use to help pay for work-related learning. Imperial College London is a Professional and Career Development Loans registered Learning Provider, registration number 7477.   • If you are a Home student or an EU student who meets certain criteria, you can apply for the Postgraduate Loan for Master’s study (PGL) from the UK government. See the uk website for more information.
  • Future Finance are an alternative source of financing for students. Further details of eligibility requirements, interest rates and other key terms of the loan are available from Future Finance.
  • Prodigy Finance is a provider of loans to international postgraduate students at the world’s top business schools. The Prodigy Finance loan programme is available for our MSc International Health Management students. You will be eligible to apply for the Prodigy Finance loan programme once you have a firm offer of a place to study on the MSc International Health Management. Admitted students can apply directly through Prodigy’s website and we will provide further information at the time of offer. The loan amount is capped at the cost of tuition less deposit and any scholarship awarded.
  • Lendwise is a specialist loan provider dedicated to education finance for UK residents who are looking to fund their postgraduate studies at top universities. For Imperial College London, North American and EU nationals will also be considered for a Lendwise loan.
    Full-time programme students who are approved for a Lendwise loan will have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation. The interest rate offered will depend on the overall applicant profile.
