The best opportunity I have had during my time at Imperial I would say is the career support offered by the Business School. I registered for an online mock Assessment centre and it was super helpful, enabling me to stand out in the real assessment I did for JPMorgan. I had wanted to become a trader following completion of my internship, and I received a summer analyst offer from JPMorgan this autumn.

Finance: 51%
Technology: 30%

For those working in finance, 26% are in investment banking, 21% in corporate or retail banking, 11% in accounting services, asset & investment management and insurance and pensions, and 5% in private equity or venture capital, fintech, hedge fund and risk.

I like the fact that each module is short but intense. I believe that it is the best way to prepare us for a variety of career paths. It is a management programme after all, so it is better to have a good understanding of a bit of everything rather than a heavy focus on just one or two subjects.

As mentioned above, the most beneficial aspect of the Leadership in Action module is that you will not only learn cutting-edge theory, but also have access to a variety of opportunities to apply your knowledge in practical projects. The international project during the module was one of my most rewarding experiences, as you have to work in a team to solve a challenging problem for a client in a very short period of time. This requires not only your own ambition and commitment, but also the ability to work in a team effectively.
